School Workshops To Stop Abuse, Bullying & Violence
*Elementary Workshops Pre-K thru 6th
For
elementary students we offer a fun, educational, interactive time where
students learn what bullying is, what to do if they are being bullied,
and how to prevent bullying or abusive situations. The dogs take the
stage to reinforce bullying techniques and strategies kids can use and
end off each presentation with an upbeat, hilarious trick performance.
*Middle School Workshops
For
Middle Schoolers we focus mainly on bullying and peer pressure. We allow
students to interact through reality games with their peers to learn
skills to defeat bullying & abuse. We end off each presentation with a
trick performance by the dogs to reinforce strategies and techniques
they can use when in an abusive or violent situation.
*High School Workshops
For
Highschoolers we touch on the tough major issues teens face today
(dating violence, peer pressure, cutting, suicide, huffing, hazing,
drugs, etc). By allowing them to interact through insightful games
with their peers, they learn how to defeat abuse, bullying and violence.
We reinforce methods taught with a trick presentation by the dogs and
offer a fun, competitive Q & A time to see what students learned.
*Religious Workshops
Holding
a degree in Christian Ministry, we offer a variety of
religious/Christian workshops that are family oriented to teach the
principles of breaking the abuse cycle through the same Biblical
methods Jesus taught.
